Enough Said premiered at the 57th London Film Festival this week and I caught up with its star Julia Louis-Dreyfus for a quick chat

Tell us about Enough Said

It’s a comedy and drama a plucky film about human flawed relationships. I play a masseuse who daughter is going off to college and she meets this guy just before it begins. I think this film is remarkable due to the writing being a cut above and I say that as it’s not like this type of writing is easy pickings all the time. So hopefully it will impress upon other writers to do their best stuff and push to get them made. It’s a tricky business.

You’re best known for your comedy work but would you like to do more dramatic work if offered?

I would love to absolutely im really having fun doing Veep right now and there’s a bit of drama in that too but obviously it’s a comedy but yeah if the right role comes along sure ill jump on in there

How was it working with James Gandolfini?

Working with James was a highlight for me and same for Toni Collette. I adore Toni Collette we have become very good friends and we had a ball, when we were laughing on camera we were really laughing we had such a ball.

What we can expect from season 2 of Veep?

You will see Selina who been angling to get more power as vice president and she is going to get more responsibility and power and there will be ramifications and they won’t be pretty

Will she ever be president?
